Product innovation has always been very high on the priorities of the management team at J&D Wilkie. We have a long history of working with both our raw material suppliers and our fabric customers to achieve new products and ranges of fabric to very stringent quality and performance levels, relevant to the particular and use.

Part of our financial budget is allocated to the development and manufacture of new products. With over 50 full scale production trials and 200 sample trials carried out annually we are certainly in a position to work with you and give your product the attention it deserves.

We have at our disposal all the of the modern textile production machinery for use in developing new products, and variations on our existing products. The sample production weaving department contains a handloom and a narrow width power loom, and can produce small fabric swatches of a number of fibre types, range of shades and multi-shaft weave designs very quickly.
